Napkins for background

Napkins is an easy way to make nice cards from. They're often very nice with beautiful pictures or patterns on them. I pull off the top layer and put it on some cardstock, first I put on plastic cooking wrap over the cardstock, put the napkin on the top and then put it between some thin paper and iron on it with a hot iron until it sticks. When its cold again I cut out the piece that I am going to use for the cards. Napkin is very soft, so I like to make a frame of cardstock and put in front of it just to be safe.
It's easy, cheap and you can make gorgeous cards with this technique.
Here you can see some of the cards I made for Christmas using napkins. I will post more when I make more cards, got a lots of napkins laying in a drawer and wait to be used. My mother always finds the nicest napkins, and when I go there and drink coffee or eat dinner I always save one for a card.

#269 Halloween

This weeks challenge is to make Halloween card. I will enter this in The Paper Shelter's challenge for Halloween nr 269. I must say that I am not at all satisfied with the photo, the light is not accurate, but I am out in the last minutes with this so it have to do. Next time I will take my pics in daylight, it works much better.
I used The Paper Shelter's #A beauty to die for. The spider's web is cut out with my Brother ScanNCut. The pumpkins is my own design and the ghosts and bats is from an Halloween die. I used ProMarkers and Copics to paint and did it on Windsor and Newton paper.

Fancy Pansy For Challenge 266

Here is my third entree to #ThePaperShelter's #Challenge266 Blooming Days. I used a scalloped card, blue cardstock, background paper from The Paper Shelter's collection Vintage Flowers.
The Pansy is my own drawing and cutting, I colored them with Copics. The sentiment "Grattis" is Swedish for Congratulations.
I also used butterflies, flatbacks and paperflowers.

My second entry to Blooming Days challenge

Here I used the #SiBelle digital stamp from #ThePaperShelter. I colored it with Copics and Promarkers. I used a C6 scalloped card and red cardstock. There are butterflies I cut out with my dies and there are flatbacks on the card and on the butterflies. I finished it with flowers, and I must say I really love this picture and I am very happy that it turn out to remember about the summer, like she is sitting in a café in Paris with flowers all around her.

Blooming days

This weeks challenge at #ThePaperShelter is about flowers. #Blooming days the theme is, and flower on cards are just lovely. Visit The Paper Shelter's Blog and see all beautiful cards, great for inspiration.
I decided to join in the #challenge266 and my first card this week is a Christmas card!
I used The Paper Shelters stamp The most adorable snowmen and colored it with Copics and ProMarkers.
I used a scalloped card, red and white cardstock, I embossed the white cardstock with big polka dots and used Crealie's die to cut out the circle in the middle. The white Poinsettia is from Marianne dies and I used it on white and green glittery paper and finished it by adding some lime green flatbacks. I added some red and white flowers to, it's nice with flowers on Christmas cards, if they match the card.
